Don’t want the hassle of cleaning your hire equipment before returning it?

Add our Return Cleaning Service to your booking and we’ll take care of the standard cleaning when your equipment comes back to us.

Simply select the option from the dropdown that best matches the equipment on your booking.

What’s Included?

Your Return Cleaning fee covers the main item(s) selected and the standard accessories supplied with them.

For example, if you select Return Cleaning for a paddleboard, the standard accessories supplied as part of that hire, such as the paddle and pump, are included.

You do not need to add a separate cleaning fee for every standard accessory supplied with your main hire item.

If you have hired additional or standalone accessories that are not part of the standard equipment supplied with your main item, please select the appropriate Additional / Standalone Accessories option.

Camp & Hike

For Camp & Hike bookings, choose the option that most closely matches your hire:

Individual Item – Rucksack, Sleeping Bag or Mat

Tent / Bivi – For a standalone tent or bivi hire

Kit / Bundle – For our multi-item camping kits, bundles and DofE equipment packages

If you have a larger Camp & Hike booking or group hire, please contact us before purchasing Return Cleaning so we can confirm the appropriate cleaning fee.

Larger or Multiple-Item Bookings

If your booking includes 3+ paddleboards, multiple Family Adventure items, a large/group Camp & Hike booking, or an unusual combination of equipment, please contact us before purchasing Return Cleaning.

We’ll confirm the appropriate cleaning option and fee for your booking.

Ski Wear & Wetsuits

Our Return Cleaning Service is not normally available for Ski Wear or Wetsuits.

These items must be washed/cleaned in accordance with the care instructions before they are returned to us, unless a cleaning arrangement has been agreed with us in advance.

If you have already arranged cleaning with us, please follow the instructions provided with your booking.

Please Note

Return Cleaning covers normal dirt, mud and general cleaning following normal use.

It does not cover damage, missing items, excessive soiling, specialist cleaning, or equipment returned in an unreasonable condition. Additional charges may apply in these circumstances.
