2. Your Bike's Wheelbase
To confirm a bag will fit your bike, measure its wheelbase (the distance between the front and rear axles) and compare it with each bag's maximum wheelbase.
If your bike is borderline, you may be able to shorten it slightly by removing the derailleur. Every EVOC bag includes separate external wheel compartments with disc protection, and all bags accommodate 29" mountain bike wheels.
3. Integrated or Conventional Cockpit?
Many modern road, TT, and gravel bikes feature integrated cockpits (handlebars and stem combined) that cannot easily be removed.

A Note on the Discontinued EVOC Bike Travel Bag XL
You may come across references to the EVOC Bike Travel Bag XL online. This bag has now been discontinued and is no longer available. Despite the "XL" name, it was actually shorter in length than the Pro (to stay within airline size limits), though wider with greater overall volume. It was best suited to fat bikes. It will not be replaced.
